I don't normally join photo contests , I'm not sure why. It's just never been a thing. I did join one a year or two ago, I did win it which was satisfying. There weren't that many entrants in that contest. That pic has turned out to be one of my favorites.
This weekend a friend of mine turned me on to a photo contest in a sim called Whimberly. I like the sim, definitely some areas to take photos. This particular post isn't a sim review. However, I would suggest going to take pics if that is your thing. The landing point is right on a lake with a small island in the middle. That island has a house on a hill, which by the way is a copy of the home that I rent, with different interior decorations of course. There is a large field of flower nearby that just feels like summer.
I entered two photo's into the Whimberly contest this weekend. It seems like it will be a good competition for 2500 lindens. After entering my photo a I received an invite to enter another contest, which I've graciously accepted. This contest is called the "Time Remains in Nonsan" photo contest. The contest is at a sim called Nonsan. This is more of a woody sim which was built specifically for taking photos. The prize in this contest it 5k lindens. So here goes, wish me luck.
I may join some more contests going forward. I had fun with these 3 pics.
